At RupyaPe, we strive to provide seamless and secure payment processing solutions. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds or cancellations may be processed for transactions made through our platform.

2. Refund Policy

  • Eligibility: Refunds are subject to the policies of the merchant or service provider. RupyaPe only facilitates the payment process and does not determine the eligibility for refunds.
  • Refund Request: To initiate a refund, customers must contact the merchant directly. The merchant will review the request based on their refund policy and notify RupyaPe to process the refund if approved.
  • Processing Time: Once approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days. However, the exact time frame may vary based on the bank or payment provider involved.
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used during the transaction. Alternative arrangements are subject to the merchant’s discretion.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Merchant Cancellation: If a merchant cancels an order or service, the customer will be entitled to a full refund, which will be processed as per the merchant’s cancellation policy.
  • Customer Cancellation: For cancellations initiated by customers, the merchant’s cancellation policy will apply. RupyaPe is not responsible for setting or enforcing cancellation terms.
  • Payment Reversal: Upon cancellation, RupyaPe will reverse the transaction and initiate the refund process within 3–7 business days, depending on the merchant’s decision.

4. Dispute Resolution

  • In case of disputes, RupyaPe offers mediation services between customers and merchants. Customers must submit their complaints via our support portal, and we will work with all parties to resolve the issue.

5. Transaction Fees

  • Any transaction fees charged by RupyaPe are non-refundable unless the refund is due to an error in processing caused by our platform.

6. Fraudulent Transactions

  • If a transaction is found to be fraudulent, RupyaPe will cancel the transaction and initiate a refund process in consultation with the merchant and the bank.
